From the sun-kissed hills of Sicily to the snowy rooftops of Windsor, Gennaro's journey began with determination and a dream. Arriving in a new land, he found warmth in the art of coffee-making when a simple question-"Can you make a cup of coffee?"-opened the door to his true passion. From that moment on, Gennaro embraced the espresso machine as his canvas, pouring his heart into every cup. 

Fuelled by his drive for excellence, Gennaro acquired a coffee roaster and devoted himself to perfecting a signature blend. His goal was to craft a rich, bold flavour that embodies the spirit of his journey. 

In 1981, Gennaro's Cafe and Coffee Company opened as a unique blend of a café, laundromat, and lottery hub, quickly becoming a beloved gathering place on Erie Street Today, we honour Gennaro's legacy with freshly crafted espresso and creamy, house-made gelato.
